.BELIEFS.

God-eternal, always has existed and always will.He is the creator of everything.He exists in 3 persons..as the Father,the Son,and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1; Exodus 3:14; Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6.

The Bible-the word of God,breathed by Him through men of God.It is inerrant,the most important message anyone could ever hear, and is the only authority we have.
II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21.

Jesus Christ-I believe He is the son of God and was born from a virgin, led a sinless life, was fully both God and man, performed miracles, in His substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, in His physical resurrection from the dead, ascension to the right hand of God, and He will return again!
Matthew 1:18, 22-23, 20:28; John 1:1-4, 14; Acts 1:11, 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4, 20;
Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4, 4:14-15; I Peter 1:18-21.

Salvation-I believe that man is sinful, separated from a Holy God, and cannot save himself from eternal punishment. Man is saved from the power of sin and Satan and unto eternal life only through God's grace, received by faith in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:9-10; I Corinthians 15:51-57; Ephesians 2:8-9.

The Holy Spirit-We receive the Holy Spirit from the time we put our faith in Christ.He indwells us and is part of our sanctification,giving us power to live a Christ-like life,helping us,teaching us,and interceding for us.
Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9, 23-27; Galatians 5:16-18; Titus 3:4-7.

Evangelism-this is a very important instruction from the Bible to ALL Christians(the church)to share the Gospel and the love of God to everyone we come in contact with. It is not just meant for those who claim to be "called" to go overseas and be missionaries, as I think is widely believed, but to all who have placed their faith in Christ.
Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 10:11-15; I Peter 3:15.

Love-the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ. Every Christian should endeavor to show Christ-like(selfless) love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our actions as well as our words.
Matthew 22:34-40; I Corinthians 13:1-3, 13; I Peter 4:8; I John 3:18.
